Prolific Prep is a high-profile private basketball boarding school that relocated from Napa, California, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the 2025–26 academic year to open a new, state-of-the-art facility. The program offers accredited academics and elite basketball development, recruiting top 11th and 12th-grade talent and producing NBA-level players.  

Founded in Northern California in 2014, Prolific Prep is the first of its kind basketball academy. Prolific Prep provides a unique opportunity for serious student-athletes to be immersed in an environment of unmatched location and community support, basketball training (game-style practice, basketball development, and athletic training).

The field for the Quarterfinals of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Championship is now complete and two former stars of the Grind Session – Adem Bona and Onuralp Bitim of Türkiye – remain in pursuit of the European crown.

Türkiye continued their unbeaten start to the tournament by defeating Sweden in the Round of 16 over the weekend. They now meet Poland in the opening quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, September 9.

Prolific Prep’s Darryn Peterson Will Finish as the No. 1-Ranked Player in the 2025 Class After Top-Spot Swap in Final Rankings

247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein announced Wednesday that Prolific Prep’s Darryn Peterson will finish as the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2025 when the final rankings come out in May. The Kansas commit will jump fellow Grind Session standout and Utah Prep star AJ Dybantsa for the top spot. 

Dybantsa has held the No. 1 ranking ever since he reclassified from the 2026 class back in October 2023.

Prolific Prep's Niko Bundalo Commits to the University of Washington

The University of Washington Huskies have secured a major recruit in their inaugural Big Ten season with the signing of Niko Bundalo, a 6'10", 215-pound power forward from Prolific Prep in Napa, California. Bundalo, originally from Uniontown, Ohio, chose the Huskies over a host of elite programs, including North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State, Connecticut, and Alabama. His decision marks another significant win for first-year head coach Danny Sprinkle, who is quickly establishing Washington as a powerhouse in the new Big Ten landscape.

The Grind Session proudly announces that 89 senior athletes from the Class of 2025 have officially committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level during the 2025–2026 season.

These seniors are headed to college programs that span a diverse array of institutions, from NCAA Division I to junior colleges, reflecting the Grind Session’s role as a vital platform for developing and showcasing top-tier men’s and women’s talent across North America.

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
