Jr. Grind NBA All-Star Weekend Showcase

The showcase is open to boys and girls in grades 3rd through 8th at the American Sports Center in Avondale. Divisions are grade based, with co-ed 3rd/4th grade and separate girls divisions for 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th grades.

New Rule Update

Grind Session Rule Update Beginning 2026-27 Season

Beginning 2026-27 Season, any player who has graduated from high school is not eligible to participate under any circumstance. Grind Session will require that all participating players remain compliant with NCAA eligibility requirements, are currently enrolled in and attending high school as part of an accredited academic program, have their reclassification recognized by their institution, and must not turn 19 years old prior to July 1 of the academic year in which they are participating.

What a remarkable night for the Grind Session and a strong illustration of how influential the circuit has become in elite player development.

In the 2026 NBA Draft, three of the first six selections were former Grind Session players:

#1- AJ Dybantsa, Washington Wizards
#2- Darryn Peterson, Utah Jazz
#6- Mikel Brown Jr., Brooklyn Nets

Dybantsa's selection also gives the Grind Session its third No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick, joining:

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
