Five teams came out on top with perfect records during the fourth stop of the Contenders Conference (Grind Session) this past weekend at Briarcrest High School and the P7 Sports Academy in Tennessee. Teams from Utah, Tennessee, Texas, Chicago, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Washington, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, Atlanta, and Canada competed in the four-day Showcase for a spot in the March Contenders Conference championship.

The Grind Session returns to Texas this weekend with a high-level showcase in Dallas, as Nolan High School hosts three days of elite prep basketball from December 19–21. As has become the standard on the Grind Session circuit, the event brings together nationally ranked prospects, rising underclassmen, and battle-tested programs from across the country.

Below is a look at the Top Prospects to Watch, drawn from both the men’s and women’s programs competing in Dallas. These nine players on each side represent the talent, depth, and competitive edge that define the Grind Session platform.

Hopkinsville, Kentucky — Grind Session Christian County

Winston-Salem Christian responded in a big way Friday night, bouncing back from a tough loss earlier in the week to earn a 98–89 victory over Ridley College at Grind Session Christian County in Hopkinsville.

After a difficult outing Thursday afternoon against nationally ranked Prolific Prep, head coach Antonio Lowe challenged his group to reset and respond — and senior guard Kenyon St. Louis delivered exactly that.

Hopkinsville, KentuckyProlific Prep delivered another complete, wire-to-wire performance Thursday night at Grind Session Christian County, overpowering Winston-Salem Christian 92–54 in a game they controlled from opening tip to final buzzer.

From the outset, Prolific Prep set the tone with relentless full-court pressure, disciplined execution, and a balanced offensive attack. Their defensive intensity disrupted Winston-Salem Christian’s rhythm throughout the night, forcing turnovers and fueling transition opportunities that quickly stretched the margin.

The Grind Session returns to Hopkinsville High School for the Christian County event — a December showcase packed with national prospects, Power Conference contenders, rising underclassmen, and high-level local matchups. Six Power Conference programs anchor the field: Prolific Prep, Academy of Central Florida, Huntington Expression, Hamilton Heights, Winston-Salem Christian, and DNA Prep, with Florida Coastal Prep serving as the lone Elevation Conference representative.

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
