Q: After another successful season on the Grind Session, what are you hoping to improve on playing this spring and summer?
A: I want to improve my communication on the court. Also being a being leader on and off the court, especially through adversity.
Q: Last year’s team was young, and you’re only going to be a sophomore, but do you consider yourself a leader on the team?
A: Yes I do consider myself a leader and someone the team can ask questions and talk to.
Q: What’s it like playing for your father and with your younger sister?
A: I love playing with my sister because I get to see her grow and be her best every single day and then having our dad as our coach is really helping us because he knows how good we are and always makes sure to push us to be our best.
Q: Looking ahead to the Grind season starting up in a few months, what will the team goals be and what goals will you set for yourself?
A: The team goal is to just come out and prove everyone wrong and win the World Championship this year! My goal is to be recognized as one of the top players in the GS League.
Q: Already recognized as one of the top underclassmen in the country, how has your support group helping you with the recruiting process (recent offers from UNLV, New Mexico, SDSU, Missouri, UCF, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, ASU and Alabama)?
A: I think having my dad helps a lot because he went through the whole recruiting process so he helps me out a lot. My uncles also played professionally and coach so they give me advice and my mom helps with putting my film and highlights out to help me get seen through social media because it’s so big now.
Q: Favorite WNBA and NBA player?
A: My favorite WNBA player is Candace Parker and my favorite NBA player is Kobe Bryant
Q: Favorite pizza topping?
A: My favorite pizza topping, I’m going to have to say barbecue chicken.
Q: If you could have a super power, what would it be?
A: I would want my super power to be teleportation.
Q: Are you a get up early or stay up late girl during the summer?
A: During the summer I get up early on weekdays to train and I get to sleep in a little on weekends, so I’ll stay up late on weekends!
Q: Plain or Peanut M&M’s?
A: I just like plain M&M’s.
