Milos Uzan, a two-year Grind Session standout from Las Vegas, Nevada, has made an incredible journey from high school basketball to the pinnacle of college hoops. His path has been defined by resilience, adaptability, and elite-level competition, preparing him for the biggest stage in NCAA basketball.
Early High School Career
Uzan initially played high school basketball for his father, the head coach at Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas. He led his team to the Nevada State High School Championship game in the 2019-2020 season. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, high school basketball in Nevada was canceled, forcing Uzan to seek other opportunities to continue his development.
The Grind Session has produced a wealth of basketball talent, with many alumni going on to play at the collegiate and professional levels. One such standout is Adem Bona, who is currently in his rookie season with the Philadelphia 76ers and today is his 22nd birthday.
The reigning 2025 Grind Session World Champions, Prolific Prep, are set to compete in their sixth consecutive Chipotle National Championship. This year’s event takes place in Fishers, Indiana, from April 2 through April 5 at Hamilton Southeastern High School, featuring the top ten high school teams in the nation. Prolific Prep enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed Long Island Lutheran (NY) in Game 3 of the event on April 3 at 2 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN2.
