Prolific Prep is a high-profile private basketball boarding school that relocated from Napa, California, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the 2025–26 academic year to open a new, state-of-the-art facility. The program offers accredited academics and elite basketball development, recruiting top 11th and 12th-grade talent and producing NBA-level players.  

Founded in Northern California in 2014, Prolific Prep is the first of its kind basketball academy. Prolific Prep provides a unique opportunity for serious student-athletes to be immersed in an environment of unmatched location and community support, basketball training (game-style practice, basketball development, and athletic training).

The field for the Quarterfinals of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Championship is now complete and two former stars of the Grind Session – Adem Bona and Onuralp Bitim of Türkiye – remain in pursuit of the European crown.

Türkiye continued their unbeaten start to the tournament by defeating Sweden in the Round of 16 over the weekend. They now meet Poland in the opening quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, September 9.

Grind Session Newcomer Caleb Holt Dominant in Team USA's Convincing Round of 16 Win Over Jordan at FIBA U19 World Cup

Grind Session newcomer Caleb Holt had another impressive performance at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup on Wednesday. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard, who recently transferred to Prolific Prep for his senior season, was dominant on both ends, helping lead Team USA to a convincing 140-67 Round of 16 win over Jordan.

Holt scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds, and notched four steals in the victory. He also dished out five assists and logged a team high 25 minutes in the game.

Grind Session Spotlight: Jordan Pope — From Prolific Prep to the Big Stage in Texas

Guard Jordan Pope, a Prolific Prep/Grind Session alum, has elected to return to Texas for his senior year under new head coach Sean Miller. As a junior, Pope averaged around 11.0 points per game and had standout performances including a career-high 42 points with eight 3s in a game against New Orleans. His return was confirmed by the program and reported by multiple outlets including Sports Illustrated and Yahoo Sports.

2025 NBA Playoffs Feature 15 Grind Session Alumni Chasing the Title

The Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, one of the most coveted awards in American sports, is the culmination of the NBA playoffs. Over the next two months, 16 teams and more than 200 players will battle for the trophy. This year, 15 former Grind Session stars across 10 different teams are among those looking to lift the championship hardware in June. Four of those teams have multiple Grind Session alumni on their postseason rosters, led by a trio of alumni on the Denver Nuggets. The Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, and Minesota Timberwolves feature two Grind Session products apiece.

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
