Prolific Prep is a high-profile private basketball boarding school that relocated from Napa, California, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the 2025–26 academic year to open a new, state-of-the-art facility. The program offers accredited academics and elite basketball development, recruiting top 11th and 12th-grade talent and producing NBA-level players.  

Founded in Northern California in 2014, Prolific Prep is the first of its kind basketball academy. Prolific Prep provides a unique opportunity for serious student-athletes to be immersed in an environment of unmatched location and community support, basketball training (game-style practice, basketball development, and athletic training).

2025 NBA Playoffs Feature 15 Grind Session Alumni Chasing the Title

The Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, one of the most coveted awards in American sports, is the culmination of the NBA playoffs. Over the next two months, 16 teams and more than 200 players will battle for the trophy. This year, 15 former Grind Session stars across 10 different teams are among those looking to lift the championship hardware in June. 247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein announced Wednesday that Prolific Prep’s Darryn Peterson will finish as the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2025 when the final rankings come out in May. The Kansas commit will jump fellow Grind Session standout and Utah Prep star AJ Dybantsa for the top spot. 

Dybantsa has held the No. 1 ranking ever since he reclassified from the 2026 class back in October 2023.

Prolific Prep Eyes National Glory at 2025 Chipotle Nationals

The reigning 2025 Grind Session World Champions, Prolific Prep, are set to compete in their sixth consecutive Chipotle National Championship. This year’s event takes place in Fishers, Indiana, from April 2 through April 5 at Hamilton Southeastern High School, featuring the top ten high school teams in the nation. Prolific Prep enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed Long Island Lutheran (NY) in Game 3 of the event on April 3 at 2 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN2.

2024-2025 Grind Session Men's and Women’s Awards and Honors Announced

Grind Session recently announced its men’s and women’s individual award winners and other honorees for the 2024-2025 season. Showcasing the strength and parity of the circuit, 23 different teams earned a place on the various listings and 10 programs saw themselves with at least one individual award winner.

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
