Hopkinsville, Kentucky — Prolific Prep delivered another complete, wire-to-wire performance Thursday night at Grind Session Christian County, overpowering Winston-Salem Christian 92–54 in a game they controlled from opening tip to final buzzer.
From the outset, Prolific Prep set the tone with relentless full-court pressure, disciplined execution, and a balanced offensive attack. Their defensive intensity disrupted Winston-Salem Christian’s rhythm throughout the night, forcing turnovers and fueling transition opportunities that quickly stretched the margin.
Senior guard Caleb Holt, the No. 6 player on ESPN’s Class of 2026 rankings, led the way with a polished all-around performance. Holt finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, and four steals, dictating the pace of the game and showcasing his ability to impact both ends of the floor with ease.
Junior wing Bruce Branch III was equally impactful, recording a dominant double-double with 10 points, 15 rebounds, and six steals. Branch’s activity on the glass and in the passing lanes underscored Prolific Prep’s defensive commitment and physical edge.
The supporting cast was equally impressive. Nasir Anderson orchestrated the offense efficiently, finishing with 14 points and eight assists, while Alex Smith, the Ohio State commit, knocked down three shots from beyond the arc on his way to 13 points. MJ Madison rounded out the double-figure scorers with 13 points, highlighting the depth and balance of head coach Ryan Bernardi’s lineup.
Winston-Salem Christian was led by Josiah Johnson-Freeman, who scored 21 points in the loss, with Nicholas McLean adding 10 points. Despite moments of competitive play, Winston-Salem struggled to find consistency against Prolific Prep’s sustained defensive pressure and tempo.
Prolific Prep’s commanding victory further solidified their presence at the Grind Session Christian County event as one of the nation’s elite prep programs.
Winston-Salem Christian will look to regroup quickly as they face Ridley College (Canada) tonight at 6:00 PM.
