Q: You’re a graduating senior and recently committed to playing college hoops next year at Iona University, what went into that final decision and what was your recruiting experience like?
A: What went into my decision to committing to Iona was the environment. As soon as I stepped on campus it felt right. I also loved the way Coach Geriot and his staff run things at Iona. The Plan they have for you puts you on a path to do great things. Being given the opportunity to come and compete at the Division 1 level is just great.
Q: What are you going to miss most about DME Academy?

Now, as the new leader with Junior Grind Session, Corey is focused on expanding the platform globally—creating opportunities for young athletes to compete, develop, and build lifelong relationships through the game of basketball.
Grind Session has officially announced updated eligibility standards beginning with the 2026–27 season to better protect opportunities for true high school student-athletes. These changes reflect the evolving landscape of basketball and Grind Session’s continued commitment to protecting and creating opportunities for elite high school athletes.
