A quartet of Grind Session players will be competing in the McDonald's All-American Game on Tuesday night inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
AJ Dybantsa of Utah Prep, Darryn Peterson and Niko Bundalo of Prolific Prep, and Mikel Brown Jr of DME Academy will be on the West team's 12-player roster for the annual high school all-star game.
The game is scheduled to broadcast nationally on ESPN at 9:00 p.m.
“The McDonald's All-American Game has produced NBA stars like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. AJ Dybantsa: Top-Ranked Sensation
Dybantsa played his senior year at Utah Prep and remained the consensus top-rated prospect in the Class of 2025 throughout the 2024-2025 season. The frontrunner to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the 6-foot-9 forward signed a significant NIL deal with BYU and is set to join the Cougars next season.
Darryn Peterson: Prolific Powerhouse
Peterson is a 6-foot-5 guard who played his senior year with Prolific Prep, where he led the team to its third consecutive Grind Session World Championship and fourth title in six years. Ranked No. 2 by two of the four major recruiting sites – ESPN and 247Sports – he’s a Kansas commit, and a presumptive lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Mikel Brown Jr.: Prodigy Point Guard
A 6-foot-3 ball handler from DME Academy, Brown is a consensus Top 10 recruit in the 2025 cycle and ranks as high as No. 6, according to 247Sports. He announced his commitment to Louisville back on New Year's Day.
Niko Bundalo: Rising Star
Bundalo is a four-star power forward for Prolific Prep who committed in November to play his college ball for Coach Danny Sprinkle and the Washington Huskies next season. The 6-foot-10 Bundalo is ranked in the Top 30 of all four major recruiting sites.
