The highly anticipated matchup will take place on Saturday, December 7 at CFSB Center, home of the Murray State men's and women's basketball teams. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM (Eastern).

No. 1 AJ Dybantsa and No. 3 Darryn Peterson headline the marquee matchup

AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson will be taking center stage this weekend when two of the nation’s Top 10 high school boys’ basketball teams in Utah Prep (No. 4) and Prolific Prep (No. 8) go head-to-head during a Grind Session showcase in Murray, Kentucky.

Dybantsa, who played for Prolific Prep last season before transferring to Utah Prep this summer, is the top-rated prospect in the Class of 2025 and presumptive No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. He’s joined by an impressive list of other top prospects on the Utah Prep roster, including Washington signee JJ Mandaquit, and standout juniors Anthony Felesi and Junior County.

On the other side of the court, Peterson is the country's consensus No. 3-ranked senior and recent Kansas commit. He’s joined by a handful of other 5- and 4-star prospects, including fellow senior and Washington signee Nico Bundalo, as well as sophomores Gabe Nesmith and Obinna Ekezie. Prolific Prep’s roster also features Michigan-bound Winters Grady.

In addition to this battle of national powerhouses, The Grind Session event this weekend will also feature 38 other teams from 17 states and Canada, 35 games, and several other top 50-rated prospects.
