The Grind Session returns to Hopkinsville High School for the Christian County event — a December showcase packed with national prospects, Power Conference contenders, rising underclassmen, and high-level local matchups. Six Power Conference programs anchor the field: Prolific Prep, Academy of Central Florida, Huntington Expression, Hamilton Heights, Winston-Salem Christian, and DNA Prep, with Florida Coastal Prep serving as the lone Elevation Conference representative.

Martay Barnes is quickly emerging as one of the most compelling two-sport family success stories to come through The Grind Session. The 6’2” sophomore guard from Melbourne, Florida brings high-level skill, explosive athleticism, and a rapidly evolving floor game to Academy of Central Florida, where he is now playing his second season with the national program.
