Huntington Expression Prep (HEP) is one of the top ten basketball programs in the nation and features some of the top high school level players in the world, including 2013 graduate Andrew Wiggins. HEP was founded by Coach Rob Fulford and his team including then assistant coach Arkell Bruce who currently presides as Head Coach today. The program structure and day-to-day operations are led by Pastor Kevin West of Expression Church and Expression Prep Academy and Head Coach Arkell Bruce. All students are considered NCAA Division I prospects and are recruited by some of the top programs in the country.

The Grind Session’s first domestic showcase of the 2025–26 season brought three days of high-level matchups, breakout performances, and statement wins to Boca Raton, Florida. With elite men’s and women’s programs on the floor—several with complete rosters for the first time—this weekend had the feel of an early-season proving ground.

Final Day Recap – Grind Session Florida Closes Strong in Boca Raton

The final day of Grind Session Boca Raton featured only three games on the schedule, but the action was packed with intensity, standout individual performances, and a strong showing from Florida programs. Four of the six teams competing on Sunday call Florida home, and the crowd at Boca Raton’s beautiful facility was treated to a fast-moving, high-energy finale.

After two international stops to open the 2025-26 season, the Grind Session returns to U.S. soil for its first domestic showcase of the year at Highlands Christian Academy in beautiful Pompano Beach, Florida. The three-day event will bring together a powerful field of prep programs—both men’s and women’s—featuring elite prospects, international standouts, and several highly anticipated team debuts.

Grind Session Alumni Adem Bona and Onuralp Bitim Set Sights on EuroBasket 2025 Glory as Unbeaten Türkiye Reaches Quarterfinals

The field for the Quarterfinals of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Championship is now complete and two former stars of the Grind Session – Adem Bona and Onuralp Bitim of Türkiye – remain in pursuit of the European crown.

Türkiye continued their unbeaten start to the tournament by defeating Sweden in the Round of 16 over the weekend. They now meet Poland in the opening quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, September 9.

Seven Former Grind Session Stars Set to Shine in FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Quarterfinals

The global basketball spotlight turns to Nicaragua this week as the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 enters its quarterfinal stage—and among the talent competing are seven standout Grind Session alumni.

This year’s AmeriCup has showcased the incredible global reach and developmental impact of the Grind Session, with former players representing a range of national teams including Canada, Dominican Republic, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay. Each has brought the competitive fire and skillset that defined their high school careers into the international arena.

2025 NBA Playoffs Feature 15 Grind Session Alumni Chasing the Title

The Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, one of the most coveted awards in American sports, is the culmination of the NBA playoffs. Over the next two months, 16 teams and more than 200 players will battle for the trophy. This year, 15 former Grind Session stars across 10 different teams are among those looking to lift the championship hardware in June. Four of those teams have multiple Grind Session alumni on their postseason rosters, led by a trio of alumni on the Denver Nuggets. The Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, and Minesota Timberwolves feature two Grind Session products apiece.

2024-2025 Grind Session Men's and Women’s Awards and Honors Announced

Grind Session recently announced its men’s and women’s individual award winners and other honorees for the 2024-2025 season. Showcasing the strength and parity of the circuit, 23 different teams earned a place on the various listings and 10 programs saw themselves with at least one individual award winner.

In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
