The 10th annual Grind Session Crush in the Valley showcase returns to Contra Costa College this weekend from Friday through Sunday.
The three-day event will feature 24 teams from four states, 17 games, and an impressive list of Top 100-rated prospects in the ’25, ‘26’ and ’27 classes.
Prolific Prep, the #8 ranked high school basketball team in the country, will headline a field stacked with future college and professional talent. Led by Darryn Peterson, the No. 2-rated prospect in the Class of 2025 and a presumptive lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Prolific Prep’s roster features some of the best talent ever seen on a high school squad. Peterson is joined by an impressive list of other star prospects, including fellow senior Nico Bundalo and sophomores Gabe Nesmith and Obinna Ekezie. The roster also features Michigan-bound Winters Grady. Junior Seven Spurlock is one to keep an eye on.
