Prolific Prep Triumphs Over Rosemary Anderson in a last second thriller.

CIV 3 2

Prolific Prep came out Sunday afternoon confident in securing a victory over Rosemary Anderson and chose to sit starters Daryn Peterson and Niko Bundalo. Rosemary Anderson played hard throughout the game but ultimately fell short, losing 81-78 in the final seconds.

Sophomore 7-footer Obinna Ekezie Jr. led Coach Ryan Bernardi's team to victory with an outstanding performance, achieving a double-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Ekezie controlled the key the entire game, making it difficult for Rosemary Anderson's big men to find success.

Michigan commit Winters Grady was just one point behind Ekezie, contributing 23 points to the win. On the other side, Hunter Carter dropped an impressive 31 points for Rosemary Anderson, with his teammate Quincy Byas adding 25 points to the effort.

Looking ahead, Prolific Prep will head to Phoenix next weekend, where they will face Accelerated Prep on Friday and Colorado Prep on Saturday night. Rosemary Anderson will also participate in the Phoenix event, taking on Albuquerque Prep on Saturday night.

As always, every game will be televised on Tanager Sports at www.tanagersports.tv.
