In a Power Conference showdown that had fans on the edge of their seats, Ft. Erie narrowly edged out Balboa 68-65. The game featured dramatic swings, with Ft. Erie building a commanding 12-point lead in the third quarter before Balboa turned up the defensive intensity to stage an impressive comeback. Tied with under a minute left, it came down to key plays in the closing seconds.

Orangeville Prep vs. DNA Prep
Orangeville Prep edged out DNA Prep with a close 72-71 victory in the first game of the day at the Pan American Center in Toronto, Canada. Noah D’Acre led Orangeville with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Isaac Kenney contributed 11 points, 6 rebounds, and a steal. For DNA Prep, Jayden Robinson was the standout performer with 27 points. Both teams are part of the Evolution Conference of the Grind Session.

Grind Session is the first-ever winter circuit of elite high school basketball events. In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
