Orangeville Prep and Code Academy Extend Contenders Perfect Records

The recent arctic blast impacting the Eastern Coast did not disrupt the activities of the 15 teams participating at Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill in Hamilton, Ohio, from December 5-7, 2025, during the third stop of the Grind Session Contenders Conference. The three-day event brought together teams from Minnesota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Chicago, and Canada to compete for qualification in the Contenders Conference championship scheduled for March.

Conference Focus: Grind Session Launches New Contenders Conference with High-Level Debut at Ridley College

The Grind Session officially ushered in a new era with the debut of the Contenders Conference, hosting its first session at the historic Ridley College campus in Ontario. Over the course of three days — November 7–9, 2025, teams from across North America competed in 45 high-intensity games, offering a deep look into the next wave of rising prep basketball talent.

Grind Session is the first-ever winter circuit of elite high school basketball events. In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 400 action-packed games will be played. Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
