Belleville West High School, also known as Belleville West Maroons, offers a comprehensive athletics program with a variety of sports across three seasons (Fall, Winter, and Spring). The school's athletic program is governed by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). Belleville West has a strong history of success, particularly in baseball, basketball, golf, and track and field. The school also provides an Athletic Physical Education program, allowing athletes to train during the school day, and utilizes a state-of-the-art campus with facilities for various sports.

Grind Session

The Grind Session

The Grind Session is the first-ever winter circuit of elite high school basketball events. In past seasons, our teams have played in some of the greatest and most unique cities across the U.S., as well as Canada, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. From November to March over 300 action-packed games will be played. The Grind Session is more than just great games: it's an opportunity to prepare for the next chapter of your basketball career.
