The Grind Session is proud to announce that three of its rising female stars — Emilie Norregaard (Denmark), Lisa Sirgi (Estonia), and Naima van Stein (Netherlands) — are representing their countries in the 2025 FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship Division B.
The event is currently taking place in the Lithuanian cities of Alytus and Vilnius through July 13.
This international honor highlights both the players’ growth and the Grind Session’s continued reputation as a top global development platform for elite basketball talent.
Emilie Norregaard
Emilie Norregaard is a skilled wing who made her mark as a dependable two-way contributor during her sophomore season (2024–2025) with PHHoenix Prep in Arizona. Now, Norregaard brings that high-level experience to Team Denmark, where she’s expected to be a key performer in their EuroBasket campaign.
Lisa Sirgi
Lisa Sirgi, a fellow PHHoenix Prep standout, also completed her sophomore season in 2024–2025 as one of the team’s most intelligent and consistent players. A savvy playmaker and vocal leader on the floor, Sirgi is representing Estonia. Looking ahead, she will join Ft. Erie International Academy this fall, continuing her upward trajectory within the Grind Session.
Naima van Stein
Naima van Stein, a dynamic forward with a strong interior presence and international pedigree, is suiting up for the Netherlands in the tournament. Known for her rebounding, rim protection, and emerging offensive skill set, van Stein is set to play her junior season with Ft. Erie International Academy. Her selection for the Dutch national team reflects her steady development and rising star potential.
